Astaxanthin is a beta carotene derived from the Haematococcus pluvialis algae. With its superior antioxidant properties, astaxanthin works to neutralize free radicals, preventing collagen breakdown and maintaining skin elasticity. In fact, it is the mostpowerfull anti-oxidant in nature, 6000 times more potent than Vit C and 770 times stronger than CoQ10.
